Deep Copper Vein Found in Uintah Tunnel Discovery
A mine tunnel in Uintah County yields a fourteen inch vein of copper oxide with a large copper glance body. The find follows earlier ore exposure near a stretch of high gas ore, and the owners plan ore testing for gold or silver values. The operation’s future hinges on continued accessibility and mine abandonment history.
