Bishop Morrill Secures Funds for Deep Well Works
On Tuesday Bishop H LeRoy Morrill visited Fair Lake and obtained 500 for installing a wing mill tanks and troughs at a deep well. The Mosby Stock association gathered cattle at the roundup corral and 123 head were turned over to the range foreman for transport to Vernal, with 75 head condemned and killed to relieve grazing pressure. The 24th of July committee announced events and a three act play for the day. Gar Merkley returned from Leota Bottoms reporting 60 acres of corn planted while Lorin McKee contracted typhoid fever.
