The Tabernacle work in Uintah County is rapidly advancing with two cabinet‑making crews, Joe Kerby of Provo leading painting, and Munday on cornish work. Dome painting by Thomas Weir, Munday, and Welsh is underway. Wiring for electric lights is done and paving will begin. Dedication is set for August 24 and 25 with hopes for a First Presidency presence.

Sweetness From L A Pike Bees in Utah Valley
L A Pike and his crew visited from the reservation and expect about 30 000 pounds of honey this season enough to fund a carload. He previously set world records for extracted honey and harvested 1800 pounds last season from two colonies. He leases bees to Charles Augustson but ran them himself this year yielding the largest recorded amount. He keeps five banded Italians noted for hardier work and operates three yards near Fort Duchesne Randlett and below the Fort, totaling 318 colonies this year.
