A glaucoma eye clinic will be held at Uintah High School on Thursday July 44 from 7 to 9:30 pm, announced by Alvin Weols of the Vernal Lions Club. Utah Ophthalmological Society and several health agencies will provide physicians and volunteers to screen about 20 Vernal Lions for glaucoma awareness. The event includes a short film and quick exams, highlighting glaucoma as a leading cause of blindness and the local prevalence estimates for Uintah County.
