Uintah county road funds seek state aid for $200000
The Uintah county road committee urges state officials to allot $200,000 for county roads as part of a larger bond plan. They advocate a single key highway between Vernal and Salt Lake City, arguing good roads will attract rail service, boost growth, and aid freight and settlement. Uintah’s representative L W Curry introduced a $2,000,000 road bonds bill with potential to rise to $3,000,000, aiming for a hard surfaced statewide program.
