Stock Sale Planned at Uintah Junior Livestock Show

At Uintah Basin Junior Livestock Show, a stock sale is planned for Saturday evening in the Uintah State Bank directors room. McConkie urged show committee members and livestock groups to attend to plan and advertise the sale, which aims to establish a home market, reduce transport costs, and boost local livestock interests. The sale would auction animals previously moved to Salt Lake City and is expected to feature hog and sheep scrambles sponsored by Vernal Lions Club with a record number of animals entered.
