Plumbago Deposit Found in Lyon County Nevada
A report from the Virgins City Enterprise notes a plumbago vein located in Lyon County near Hackett head in Delaware district, about seven miles south of Dayton. James Hanswick and associates report a four foot wide vein with two cropping points fifty feet apart and a pure composition, with a shaft sunk at the surface and a twenty pound block prepared for Lyon county at the Midwinter fair.
