Vernal Meat Firm Plans $38,000 Ice Plant Near North Fifth East
Vernon group announces early construction of a modern $38,000 refrigeration and cold storage facility on North Fifth East Street. Cecil Toungate, president, says the plant will produce 300 pound blocks of crystal ice from electrified water with Ames and Roberts of Dallas as designing engineers and 2500 square feet of floor space plus loading docks and customer parking.
