Bids Opened On Surfacing Of U S 49
Bids for seven miles of Utah rock asphalt surface on U S 49 between Roosevelt and Fort Duchesne were opened. The low bid came from WW Clyde & Co of Springville at 73 567 10, with total project cost about 103 931.67. The work will complete the unsurfaced stretch from Fruitland to Vernal and tie into a larger plan to finish the Vernal Colorado line segment by year end.
