Prep hoop scoop credits Duchesne as district title favorite
LeGrande Young notes Duchesne High leads district rivals Uintah Roosevelt Alterra with a strong preseason showing. He cites Duchesne’s decisive win over Park City, key players Ode Kirk Nelson and Grant back from last year, and Uintah’s new system while Roosevelt and Alterra gauge depth. Several local teams and barnstorming squads are slated for regional dates, with Oiler games set for January 11 and predictions favor Alterra on their floor in a close forecast.
