Lions Speaker Addresses Six Major Youth Problems
BYU administrative assistant Wm. R. Siddeway outlined six youth problems at Vernal Lions Club citing rapid change, pressure on college paths, scarce educational opportunities, lack of self built facilities, ethics confusion, and few sincere adult role models. He warned of a moral crisis and noted $100,000,000 in vandalism costs with one in five youths involved. He urged patient guidance and said tomorrow’s leaders depend on today’s adults.
