Utah Employment Security warns on past due reports
The Utah Department of Employment Security issued a warning to covered employers to file past due contribution reports by February 15. Missing reports for 1960, 1981, and 1982 could raise tax costs or raise rates, potentially causing an $800 loss on a $100,000 payroll if the 1963 rate jumps to 2.7 percent. No extensions or waivers are allowed by law.
