Medleys Duo-Piano Show To Headline State Concert At UHS

Private Morrison, supply clerk in the battalion HQ Detachment at Mannheim, marked a high point of a year’s NATO training pyramid with German and French troops. He joined the Army in January 1959 after base training at Fort Riley and a Uintah High School graduate from Vernal who worked at Caldwell Sawmill Co. before enlisting.

Property Tax Burden by Class in Uintah County 1960
A Utah Foundation study shows commercial and industrial property paid $897,265, 684 percent of Uintah County’s total property tax, while statewide figures reflect 31.7 percent residential and 18.8 percent agricultural shares. The 1960 Utah tax total reached $88,962,502, up 44 percent from 1959.
