After a 13 year gap Uintah County held the God For Victory Fair at Imperial Hall September 22 23 1944 funded by 30000 from the fair fund. Russell Keetch chaired exhibits with 600 plus entries and 475 ribbons. 4H foods clothing fruits vegetables crops and canning were shown along with food preservation posters soil conservation noxious weed displays cedar chest from a local boy forest species timber from Ashley forest and mounted branches. The fair emphasized education and hoped to become an annual event.
