Lodgepole Pine Fences Boosted by Preservative Treatment
County agricultural agent reports lodgepole pine posts can rival cedar or juniper when treated with pentachlorphenol preservative. A 15 to 20 cent per post cost covers soaking. concentrate sold as Lauxal Sermulen or Duralde mixes with fuel oil. Posts soaked 24 hours, 30 inches of butt submerged, create a decay resistant shell one half to one inch thick. Treatment is durable and soil-ground exposure remains secure. Rules for Korean G I Bill Benefits
Rules for the Korean G I Bill clarify eligibility after June 27 1950. Veterans must have honorable discharge, active duty post dates, and at least 80 days service unless disability ends early. Two periods do not count: civilian school courses and cadet or midshipman service. Active duty prevents eligibility. Entitlement tops at 26 months based on service days.
Korea G T Bill training rules for veterans with prior WWI or disabled entitlements
The Korea GT Bill may allow training for veterans who previously trained under World War I G1 BIL or Public Laws 10 of 84 for the disabled. They must subtract prior training from 48 months and cannot exceed the remaining difference within a 36 month limit. If entitlement expires mid quarter, training may continue to finish the quarter or semester. If entitlement ends after major course work, training may continue to course end or nine weeks, whichever is shorter. Extensions apply to correspondence students who have completed over half the course.
