Uintah County held a delinquent tax sale last Monday with no bidders. The county bid in the property offered for taxes and nearly a dozen tax assignments were issued, mainly to Western Real Estate & Securities Company, bearing 12 percent interest until redemption. The county plans to proceed with collecting delinquent personal property taxes to enforce the law.
The Vernal Drug Co files a civil action in the Dig Inlet Court against former manager Idn W Lloyd seeking 672.65 plus costs, alleging Lloyd wrongfully received an extra 25 per month in salary not approved by the board. Attorneys Pete Hanson, Thos W O Donnell, and Wallace Calder represent the plaintiff.
