Visit to Dinosaur Museum Chapter of a Dreamlike Journey
A narrator recalls a vast Dinosaur Museum experience filled with towering skeletons and lifelike exhibits. The family wanders halls, views a 120 foot skeleton in a central room, and envisions a ancient river and marshy lake where carcasses lay buried. They ride through a Western airship dream and praise National Parks as educational assets for the nation.

Fort Bridger to Fort Thornburg Road Built Across Uintah Range
William A Carter led the effort in 1861 62 to establish a passable wagon road from Fort Bridger to Ashley Creek near Vernal Utah then Fort Thornburg through the Uintah mountains. The hard winter dugways and snow blocks delayed freighting but by 1882 83 army troops and oxen crews improved the route laying corduroy and clearing boulders. The project spurred regional growth despite eventual abandonment with Fort Duchesne replacing Thornburg.
