Budget cut won’t affect water project funding
The Bureau of Reclamation assured Senator Bennett that a $321,300 reduction in Bonneville Unit planning funds will not impact fiscal year 1964 financing for the Central Utah Project. Commissioner Dominy explained the House Appropriations Committee trimmed the request from $1,721,300 to $1,400,000, which should adequately finance planning work despite delays in passing the 1964 Appropriation Act.
