Ute Indians Start Job Training in Farm Machinery
An occupational training course begins January 6 at Fort Duchesne under the Manpower Development and Training Act. Twenty men will learn care and operation of farm machinery five days a week, 9 am to 4 pm, with pay. The Ute Tribe will hire 12 graduates for tribal enterprises and provide facilities and equipment. Union High School supplies a teacher. Prospective students should visit the Tribal office the coming week. interviews will be conducted by Mr Price and Max Hartman.

Green River fish plants for 1963 are finished in Daggett County Utah with the final stocking in the water below Flaming Gorge Reservoir. Officials report the late fall operation was held up by low water conditions and weather, but stocking proceeded despite it not being normal practice.
