Operators and each employee receiving punch board wagers are liable for occupational tax. stamps cost 50 dollars annually. Liability applies even if receipt of wagers is incidental or casual to employment.

Former Vernal resident Sgt Harold Eugene Somin now serves as a communications operator at Clark Field in the Philippine Islands and acts as secretary clerk for a Philippine service group linked with an LDS organization. Lt E Call praises his attitude before deployment. Somin trained at Lackland AFB and a Monmouth NJ school. Also noted are Lt Crambo’s completion of a naval ordnance course at San Diego and Pvts DeMar and LaVoir Duvall completing basic training at Lackland, with both joining the Lackland band.
