Clarence Palmer of Vernal has been seated as a member of the board of directors of the American Dairy Association of Utah for 1964 85 at the association s annual convention in Salt Lake City Announcement of the seating was made by A W Chambers president of the ADA of Utah The association held its annual convention in Salt Lake City last weekend In addition to serving on the ADA of Utah s board of directors Mr Palmer is the county chairman for the American Dairy Association of Utah Mr Chambers was re elected to his third term as president at the meeting Also elected were J Edwin Ure Kamas Summit county vice president and John Van Drimmelen Ogden secretary manager In his annual message to members ADA of Utah president A J Chambers praised dairymen for helping Utah milk receive honor roll ratings from the U S Public Health Service an outstanding rating on the quality of milk produced in the state
Mr. Chambers commended Utah dairy farmers for leading in installing modern milking equipment. The Great Basin Milk Marketing Administration reports 99.8 percent of Grade A farms in the marketing area are now equipped with bulk milk systems.
