Mrs Tillie Bell and three Bee Hive leaders in the state received YWCA service pins for outstanding service. Bell has logged fifteen years of service, one of the longest in the Bee Hive organization, as community activities included a courthouse lawn gathering and domelike events. John Murphy helped with inoculation efforts, and local residents attended events and business trips around Lapoint and Taylor Mountain.
The notice lists residents and visitors including John Rasmussen Myr and Mrs Cfford Smith with children on a business trip to Vernal August 20 for a couple of days. Chas Ste is visiting relatives nearby, with Mr and Mrs Chis Steee and Mr Steele returning to Douglas Creek. Thursday Grant Mortill and family returned from Veni with infant Lauran Bartlett staying to assist at home.
The Utah State Engineers Office announces that Am 14 Oldland of Vernal Utah has applied to divert water from an unnamed stream to irrigate land. The plan includes a ditch and subsequent spread to acres of land. Protests must be filed with the office within the stated period and accompanied by a fee of 10 cents. Publication date September 27, 1924.
Department of the Interior General Land Office Salt Lake City Utah issues notice for Gilbert Smith of Vernal Utah who filed a home stake entry for a land parcel in Section 14 Township 55 Range 21 East Salt Lake Meridian. Final proof to establish claim scheduled before Leon F Christensen at Vernal Utah on September 4 1934 with witnesses W W Ar Smuin Bert Hammonds Thon Poone and Gordon Smuina of Vernal Utah.
