Nazis plan to bombard New York, says WWII era report
Washington reports secret Nazi weapons planned to strike major cities. A detailed Army Air Forces review describes a bomber reaching 184 miles high and rapid missiles like V-2 and Fritz X. Other designs include Aurien-Winged rockets and Rheintochter anti aircraft missiles. The report notes costs and potential scope of the German weapons program, with estimates of large scale production and impact. Local social notes mix in visits and family gatherings from Jensen and Maeser, Utah communities.
