John Cox head carpenter of the Utah fish and game department leads a crew and two trucks to start work next Tuesday on a fish hatchery at White Rocks Uintah Basin. The facility will replicate the Logan hatchery with 8 million fish yearly capacity, four initial ponds, and rainbow and Eastern Brook trout. Local clubs helped secure the project and construction aims for November egg readiness.

Flood Swallows Buick in Walker Hollow Deluge
A Tuesday flood in Walker Hollow swept a Buick belonging to Sterling Col e downriver after two cars crossed the muddy hollow. Rescue efforts by Commissioners Fred Feltich Sheriff L Richardson and Ben P Kelly were hindered by rising waters as the vehicle vanished upside down about 400 yards downstream. Collett recovered his car but it was practically ruined.
