Uintah County estimates a 1958 budget of 406 078 versus 321 281 40 in 1957 with most increases tied to 44 000 for the new county building 21 000 for airport expansion and 18 225 for Uintah Water Conservancy District funded by a five mill levy. The 1958 levy rises to 4760 from 4250 and assessed value climbs from 15 983 316 to 18 726 000. Additional revenues come from fines oil legal fees forest liquor and state vehicle registrations.
