Homecoming events for Eve Ashton are set for September 8 with a stake welfare meeting at 6 30 pm in the Take Center. Marion G and others organize, inviting priesthood members, bishops, counselors, and stake teaching committees to attend the Pure Tabernacle session at 8 pm.
Funeral services were conducted for Gary D Winward in Vernal after a California car crash fatally injured him while returning home. Relatives including Leora Chivers and Lloyd Winward attended. music was provided by Mrs. A Gonne and a children's choir.
Hayden pioneer Gurr 73 died at Roosevelt on Saturday at 1 30 am after a stroke. Survived by widow Margaret Davis Gur and four sons and two daughters including Joe Delos Gurr Clive Gurr Elko Beryl Cloward Nesla Gardner Ate Gardner. 25 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Funeral Tuesday at 1 pm in Neola LDS chapel with Rex Gardner officiating. burial in Venus Memorial Park.
