Martin Boyd of Senrietta Kentucky endured granulated sore eyes for twenty years. In February 1903 a gentleman urged him to try Chamberlains Salve. He bought a box, used two thirds, and his eyes have troubled him no more. Vernal Drug Co sells the salve.

Eight year old boy killed by horse in Fourth ward
An eight year old boy of A Baker was kicked to death when playing near a wagon tongue in Fourth ward. He ran to his mother and collapsed, dying after being brought to the ground. Burial plans follow. Death of Mrs John Strang in Green River City Wyoming
The death reported last week in Green River City Wyoming is confirmed as Mrs John Strang of Vernal. The remains are buried in Green River City. Her husband will soon return to Roosevelt with their two children. She was a daughter of Mrs John Odehith who died in Idaho last spring and had many friends in Vernal where she lived for years. The week’s storm caused little damage with rain benefiting the crops.
