New Library-City-County Building Proposed by Chamber
The Vernal Uintah County Chamber of Commerce favors a new library-city county building as the top project for the year. Proposals include locating the library with a new city and county building west of the present courthouse and remodeling the courthouse for storage due to its age and inadequacy. Fire risk and costly records support a new structure costing 75000 to 100000 dollars amid county growth and new resource-derived funds.
