Frances Blaisdell flutist and Walter Piasecki cellist will perform at Uintah High School auditorium in a university sponsored lyceum program. The concert starts at 8 30 pm. Vernal City approves parking meter ordinance and street plans

Vernal City Council on Wednesday adopted an ordinance to regulate parking meters installed by May 1 and held hearings on street and sidewalk work in the north part of town. They approved sewer line work near Fourth South and Second Bath Street and agreed to proceed with water system improvements, with meters delivered and crews en route from the west coast.

Joka Man Hambielut 34 of Inks killed when a plane crashed near Ouray about noon Monday as he and passenger Ridgeway 19 of Jerome Ide attempted to herd horses.
