Local teachers honored Mrs. Neale Hacking Allen with a silver shower. The piece lists countless relatives and neighbors in town and Vernal, noting flu illnesses, relocations, farm work, and travel between Salt Lake, Roosevelt, Tonopah, and Lava Hot Springs as April signals with weather described as cool and windy.
The Mutual program featured Iowa Hack ing two accordion solos by Theodore Collier of Davis ward who spoke on Honor Thy Father and Thy Mother Lucy Jones played a piano solo. Mrs. Wilson and Mr. Colton visited from Arizona and recalled a two year stay in San Diego. Nellie Hackins and Edgar Allen married in a March 31 ceremony at the county courthouse. They planned a Salt Lake City trip to meet the bride’s parents. The play What Became of Parker was enjoyed by a large audience. Relief society met weekly at the Relief society house. Current Topics club discussed federation matters and Edgar A. Guest works. Mrs. Bird has lagrippe and Lucile Calder visited her parents.

Regular visits and moves noted among Altonah, Vernal, and Fort Duchesne residents. Beekeeper Ira Caldwell from Gusher and others travel for work and family events.

Mrs Miller of Jensen visiting daughter Rhoda in V T Rice's care. Rice drove her home in a new coach.
