Fish will be reared at the Basin hatchery at Whiterocks two miles northeast. Hatchery supervisor Larson has led the plant for years. Water supply comes from nearby springs. Spawn eggs are from Strawberry Lake and other points. Mountain brook and rainbow trout are hatched, with capacity 600000 trout yearly. Rainbow trout reach about three inches, mountain brook five to eight inches by fall. After two weeks the fish are fed twice daily. Local markets supply demand.
