Night Door Knock and a Will Involving Five Guineas

In a remote cabin a midnight knock leads to a feigned deathbed scene where Peter and a dying man arrange a fake will to benefit Peter. The episode centers on deceit, the imagined bequest of Killimunduinery and Koockabeboora, and the manipulation of neighbors. The narrative ends with the fake will secured as a personal treasure, amid a surrounding community scene and scattered notes on public matters.
