Supt J L Henderson announced last Friday as patron visiting day. About one hundred patrons toured the school, watched chemistry experiments, and heard a debate on municipal street railway ownership. The event featured a luncheon, student programs, and praise for the teachers, trustees, and school building as a community touchpoint.
An enjoyable program was given Feb 21 by the teachers of the Second and Third Rooms. The regular work of the rooms continued until 2 o'clock, then the Third Room under Hazel took charge.
A Sunday gathering at the Methodist church featured Judge R. T. St. John of Marion arguing the liquor open saloon endangers law and morality.
