Dr J B Derbyshire installs an Electric Radiant Light Cabinet similar to the Kellogg device from Battle Creek Michigan in Van Buren. The light therapy is said to improve blood flow and organ function, treat rheumatism neuralgia gout obesity arteriosclerosis and other conditions, with one treatment equaling a week at the seashore.

Two State Speakers to Preview Farmers Institute Program

The Farmers Institute executive committee met Saturday afternoon and planned a one day event on January 8 due to the influenza epidemic. The program features High School music, several addresses by Mr. H. F. Brewer and Mrs. Wm. Goldsmith, committee reports, and a benediction by Rev. J. O. Campbell.
