The Mile W. C. T. U. held a November 25 meeting at the Roberts home. Rev F S Harter argued for capital punishment while speakers including Rev Lester and Miss Nellie B Kelley debated the opposing view. Five new members joined. a large supper was served for sixty. The next union meeting is January 15 at Plummer Chapel with revival progress and prohibition focus.

Severe Wind Storm Damages Town and School
A heavy wind storm swept the area Saturday causing extensive damage. Many water closets blown over and fences destroyed in the country.
