Antioch Choir Impresses Big Crowd With Song
The Antioch Church Singing class directed by Prof. Baskette of Jonesboro performed to a full Methodist Church Sunday night. The over sixty members sang with notable timing and featured duets by Prof. Baskette and Mr. Matt Hicks of Hanfield. Next week the group travels to Jonesboro for the M. P. conference.

The Butler family held its annual reunion Sunday August 8 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Witmer. A big fried chicken dinner and afternoon ice cream and cake were served. Undertaker Gildersleeve Delays After Dual Tragedies
Undertaker W J Gildersleeve was summoned from Lake Webster on Friday for the death of Sidney Allen. He returned Sunday afternoon and was again called Monday for the death of Mrs Adkin, then went back to Webster Tuesday evening.
