Gilbert Knocks Out Young in Fifteenth Round

In Ogden last night at the Armory Pat Gilbert of Salt Lake knocked out Al Young of Ogden in the fifteenth round after a hard, clean bout. Gilbert was stronger and landed decisive blows in the later rounds while Young bravely fought back, injuring his hand. Referee Frank Armstrong earned praise for his control and sportsmanship throughout the match.
