Accident Report From Fongham Oil Mine
In Fongham on Oct 21 Lowvia Tolima a worker at Silver Shield Mining was found dead in an oil mine shaft around 11 39 pm. He had worked two years for the company and had not shown up for 4 a 9 20 shift rebounding from the foreman. An investigation led to a post-mortem by samples of the mine. the body was recovered from the workings. Harry R Jones general manager expressed deep regret and said Tolima was a competent worker familiar with the site. Tolima was 29, a Hingbar national, survived by a brother Joseph living in Italy. Funeral arrangements are set for Friday at Hall's under taking patios at 2 pm with Rev. Ky Glpto KUL presiding.

Rescued After Thrilling Lake Experience Near Houghton
Houghton, Mink. Oct. 2. A group including Crowe of the barren Zeliin Marta and Tale Ay fan were rescued after a thrilling night on Lake Superior when their tow connected to the steamship Kideard broke amid rocks ten miles from Portage entry. They drifted for hours as weather hampered location efforts but were eventually found and taken aboard the seater Wines. Search efforts continued for others missing.
