Chicago report states Mordecai Brown now known as Three Fingered Brown sues in federal court seeking $7,600 yearly for 1914 to 1916 unpaid contracts with the St. Louis Federal club. He alleges $7,500 owed and claims failures across clubs including Brooklyn Chicago St Louis Pittsburgh Buffalo Kansas City Newark and other federal and American league affiliates. The case names Charles Comiskey and Charles Websterman among others.
