Review of a late tabloid musical comedy Society Duda

The piece features principal performers and chorus with high society roles as the plot develops. Vincent Eme and Jack C Clair shine as character comedians, while a Mary role is misnamed in the program. The Irving Devlin duets and various numbers lift the show above ordinary. Welch, Mealy Montrose, Claudia Coleman, and Johnson contribute standout bits. Kartell delivers a noted slack wire routine amid a lively if imperfect program with a Beotch lassie and a capable interpreter of song.
