Utah Workman's Compensation Law Applies to Four or More Workers
A Utah measure effective July one requires every employer with four or more workers to provide or insure compensation for injuries arising in the course of employment. Options include state fund, stock or mutual insurance, or proof of financial ability to pay directly, with details on medical costs, funeral expenses, and wage-related benefits for total or partial disability, death, and dependents.
