Tokio reports Admiral Yamamoto presented Vice Admiral Taego’s account of the sixth Japanese attack on Port Arthur to the Japanese Diet. The house adopted a resolution praising the navy and pledging support for wartime efforts amid talk of renewed Japanese martial spirit.
In a conversation today the Russian military agent said he did not expect a serious engagement between land forces for two or three months. He called it very improbable that the Japanese would attempt to land at New Chwang or nearby.
