Coblenz March 2 Associated Press American army quarters completed the investigation of a clash in Gnez a Coblenz suburb on March 16 involving three American soldiers and several German civilians. One American private was killed another wounded. Germans sustained minor injuries. The Americans say the German opening shot triggered the fight while Germans claim the Americans attacked. Five Germans were detained for trial.
