San Jone Cal March 21 In a pror t ninth inning finish the Indianapolis American team defeated the Salt Lake aggregation at Luna park this afternoon by a score of 4 to 2 Five of the Hoosiers runs were made in the last inning Pitcher Gregory was batted out of the box and was replaced by Laroy who would have stopped the surge if he had been supported. The fans were of the opinion Tennant should have been charged with defeat instead of Gregory be van as the first baseman made a bad overthrow in the last inning which was discouraging to Laroy.

Constantinople March 22 report says Lieutenant Commander Bricker of the US Navy and three sailors drowned March 20 while attempting to reach the Scorpion with a rowboat off the Bosphorus near Delabartepe palace.
