Traverse City reports Bunny, first sacker for Salt Lake in the Pacific Coast League, declares he will not report or play semipro until a favorable contract by March 15. He cites $2900 salary and threats to enter the auto business with his father or relocate to Helolt, Wis., if demands are unmet, asserting readiness to report only at $2,900 per.
Utah coach Nelson Norgren will accompany Brigham Young University’s ball team to an overseas hoop tournament in Chile, meeting in Salt Lake City March 7. Bt John N F March 7 Special military units are being formed in New Brunswick to enlist men rejected for disabilities. One unit is a bantam battalion of residents from this province and Nova Scotia, small in stature but to serve in regular infantry roles.
