Candy Factory Fire Destroys Sacramento Plant
The Capital Gandy de Crack er company sugar factory in Sacramento was destroyed by fire. Estimated damage ranges from 167000 to 200000 dollars. A two story brick building in the wholesale district lost half a block of space and about a hundred workers were left jobless. Damaged lines traced to the blaze suggest accidental wiring as the cause. In San Salvador a separate report mentions an infernal machine aimed at a judge, with no details on outcome.
