Board Approves High School Progress and New Staff
The Board of Education met to report rapid work on the new high school building with completion expected before the school year. Thirty teachers were elected at salaries up to 700 per year, with twelve graduates appointed as assistants, and 17 more hired to reach 150 total. The plan includes electric clocks, kindergarten rooms, and drawing-material purchases.
