Dismiss Ball Frat's Petitions In Major League Action
Cincinnati report states the National Baseball Commission dismissed the Baseball Players Fraternity petitions. Three concessions were deemed not refer to major leagues and thus internal affairs of the national association. A fourth demand for full pay to injured players under contract was also rejected. The decision cites that no major league contract approves suspending a disabled player without pay and that 1917 form contracts require clubs to retain injured players for the full term.
