He has been assigned "The Star of Bethlehem" as the subject for the sacred cantata performed by the choir. the event is expected to be among the season's most attractive holiday programs.

In Belleville last night a crowd at Jae Martins saloon mourned George Liddell of Ogden Utah who died from a German rifle bullet on the front line Novem ber 1. His mother’s letter and the gathering drums of celebration shifted to a solemn salute as friends toasted a brave man. The scene ended with the national anthem and a quiet toast to Liddell while brief weather notes followed.
