Colored man taken to Nebraska by sheriff
Sheriff Gustave Selger of Grand Island Nebraska arrived with James Wilson a colored man wanted for alleged self appropriation of 900 dollars from his wife and leaving. Wilson was taken from a Union Pacific train en route to San Francisco Tuesday by Detective J J Hobson and Patrolman I C Canfield. His pockets disgorged 743 in currency. He claimed to own a garage in Grand Island. He offered no resistance when arrested.
